Platform & cloud

Infrastructure sized to your team, not to a reference architecture. The goal is boring: environments that reproduce, deploys that are unremarkable, and a bill that does not surprise you.

When teams call us

If more than one of these is true, this is usually the right starting point.

First phase is typically 4–6 weeks.

  • Only one person can deploy safely
  • Staging and production have quietly diverged
  • Cloud spend is growing and nobody can attribute it

What it covers

  • Infrastructure as code, reviewed like application code
  • Reproducible environments from one definition
  • Deploy pipelines with automatic rollback
  • Cost attribution per service and per environment

What you keep

  • Terraform you own and understand
  • A deploy pipeline with documented failure modes
  • On-call runbooks and escalation paths
How it runs

How we approach it

The sequence this work follows, and why it is in that order.

  1. Inventory what is actually running

Not what the diagram says. Console-created resources, forgotten environments and the one instance nobody will turn off — all of it, written down before anything moves.

  2. Codify the real state

Terraform imported against what exists, so the code describes production on day one. Writing the ideal config first means maintaining two truths until someone gives up.

  3. One definition, every environment

Staging and production differ by variables, never by history. Drift between them is the source of most "worked in staging" incidents.

  4. Make rollback boring

Deploys become unremarkable when reverting is a routine, rehearsed action. If rolling back is exciting, nobody deploys on a Friday and velocity quietly dies.
