Who we are
Azenvoc Development and IT LLP (“Azenvoc”, “we”, “us”) is a forward deployed engineering firm, and the controller of the personal information this policy describes. It covers azenvoc.com and the enquiries and applications that reach us through it. For anything in it, write to hello@azenvoc.com.
The short version
- We collect only what you send us: the contact form, the application form, your emails, and — if you join it — what you post in our Discord server.
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts.
- We never sell your information.
- Ask us and we will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
What we collect
When you use the contact form: your name, work email, company (optional), how you would like to work with us (optional), how you heard about us (optional) and your message. With it, your browser sends the pages of this site you visited before the form and the site that linked you here (for example, a search engine). That is held only in the open page, never in cookies or storage, and is sent only if you send the form.
When you introduce a client through azenvoc.com/referrals: your name, email and how you know them, and the name, company and contact details of the person you introduce — which you confirm they agreed to share. We use their details only to contact them about the introduction.
When you apply to join our talent network through the form at azenvoc.com/join: your name, email, where you are based, your profile links, your experience, strengths and stack, your rate and availability, your answer about a system you have owned, your CV, and — if you give it — your Discord username.
When you join our Discord server: Discord shares your username and profile with the server, and we can see what you post in the channels you have access to. Discord’s own privacy policy governs everything else about your account.
When you visit the site: our hosting provider processes standard technical data — such as your IP address and browser type — to deliver pages and protect the site. We do not use it to identify or profile you.
When you send a form: we use your IP address for a few minutes, in memory only, to limit how many submissions one connection can make — it is how we stop automated spam. It is never stored, logged or attached to what you send.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement.
- To assess your application and, if you join the talent network, to match you against engagements on experience, rate, stack and time zone. We share your profile with a client only with your agreement, when proposing you for a specific engagement.
- To keep the site and our Discord server secure.
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and in running our business, or — where you apply to work with us — on the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
Who else handles your information
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- Resend — delivers copies of contact-form messages to our inbox.
- Microsoft — hosts our email.
- Discord — runs our server, if you join it, and the private workspace where enquiries and applications are delivered. Each is visible only to the people who handle it.
Each handles your information only to provide its service to us. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
International transfers
We work with clients and engineers in several countries, and our providers may process data outside your own — including in the United States. Where the law requires it, those transfers rely on safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as we are discussing work with you, and afterwards only as long as we need for our business and legal records.
- Applications that do not lead to a place in the talent network: up to twelve months, then deleted.
- Talent network: until you ask us to remove you.
- Referrals: for as long as commission may be payable, and afterwards only as long as our accounting records require. Details of an introduced person who does not become a client: up to twelve months, then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to give you a copy of it. Write to hello@azenvoc.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to your local regulator — for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
